A Reader Named Gilesnfio —Gives History Of ‘ Well , No Palestinian State ‘

A little history for those wanting to ‘restore Palestine’.

  1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state.
  2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state.
  3. Before the Ottoman Empire, there was the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, not a Palestinian state.
  4. Before the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, there was the Ayubid Arab-Kurdish Empire, not a Palestinian state.
  5. Before the Ayubid Empire, there was the Frankish and Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem, not a Palestinian state.
  6. Before the Kingdom of Jerusalem, there was the Umayyad and Fatimid empires, not a Palestinian state.
  7. Before the Umayyad and Fatimid empires, there was the Byzantine Empire, not a Palestinian state.
  8. Before the Byzantine Empire, there were the Sassanids, not a Palestinian state.
  9. Before the Sassanid Empire, there was the Byzantine Empire, not a Palestinian state.
  10. Before the Byzantine Empire, there was the Roman Empire, not a Palestinian state.
  11. Before the Roman Empire, there was the Hasmonean state, not a Palestinian state.
  12. Before the Hasmonean state, there was the Seleucid, not a Palestinian state.
  13. Before the Seleucid empire, there was the empire of Alexander the Great, not a Palestinian state.
  14. Before the empire of Alexander the Great, there was the Persian empire, not a Palestinian state.
  15. Before the Persian Empire, there was the Babylonian Empire, not a Palestinian state.
  16. Before the Babylonian Empire, there were the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, not a Palestinian state.
  17. Before the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, there was the Kingdom of Israel, not a Palestinian state.
  18. Before the kingdom of Israel, there was the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, not a Palestinian state.
  19. Before the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, there was an agglomeration of independent Canaanite city-kingdoms, not a Palestinian state.

All of these millennia of history however pales in relevance to the fact that today (and since 1947), Israel has substantially accomplished establishing a Rights respecting state. About 25% of the residents of Israel proper are Arab Muslim whose Rights are protected under Israeli law. A number of these Muslims serve the IDF.

The Palestinians do not have a right to a state in that area—or any area—because, as an organized group seeking to establish a state, they have made manifestly clear, in both word and deed, that they have no intention of establishing a state to protect individual rights. On the contrary, their intentions are to violate rights—which is what they have been doing as a matter of course for decades.

  1. A Christian Zionist propping up a Zionist while Israel commits genocide pretty much sums up this blog and especially Gilles nonsense for these seven plus months of Israel’s ethnic cleansing of the people that own the land Israel stole :

Former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir herself acknowledged her Palestinian roots, stating in an interview: “What was all this area before the First World War? Palestine was the area between the Mediterranean and the Iraqian border… East and West Bank was Palestine; I am a Palestinian. From 1921 to 1948 I carried a Palestinian passport.”

    • The state of Palestine issues a passport to this very day.

The government of Palestine issued passports/travel documents to Palestinians prior to 1925.

After 1925 Mandatory Palestine passports were issued to Palestinian citizens and they had ‘the right of abode’ in Palestine.

In 1948 the Jews massacred and drove out the Palestinian citizens and then stole the Palestinians land, farms, businesses and homes.

The ‘All-Palestinian’ passport was then issued to those Palestinians that escaped to Gaza.

  2. Is this Brian Peckford writing this drivel ? Is this meant to justify the genocide in Gaza ? Do you have a financial interest in the offshore gas fields that Israel covets ? Or perhaps you have invested in the Ben Gurion Canal ?

    • Mr. Peckford is a fair representation of most people that supported the Jewish people after the Holocaust.

The State of Israel is an entity,a militaristic terrorist state prior to and upon/after inception, that does not represent the entirety of Jewish people on planet earth.

The State of Israel was founded on the legitimacy of the U.N’s blessing while Israel have never adhered to the commands of the U.N. since they were granted the land the Palestinians occupied, owned and were then driven out of.

      Israel’s legitimacy as a state:

“Israel got entry into UN in 1949 by agreeing to fulfill two conditions:

-There will be a Palestinian state nearby the Israeli state (U.N. Resolution 181)

      – All the Palestinians who were made refugees by Israel in 1948 will be allowed to return to their original homes. (U.N. Resolutions 194, 3236)

Neither of these 2 conditions were fulfilled by Israel to date, thus undermining its own (legitimacy) membership” -Mustafa Barghouti-

    • Accusing Israel of ‘Genocide’ Reflects, at Best, Ignorance of the Term’s Meaning and, at Worst, Complicity With Hamas Terrorists. Hamas is very effectively making people into mindless sheep sympathetic to them and their barbarian, woman raping, child murdering ways.

Shame, shame, shame upon you and your moral cowardice!

      • Maybe you ought instead call on Hamas to surrender their hostages and themselves, and to stop using hospitals, civilians, and children as human shields as a military strategy. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME upon your aiding and abetting of the human shield strategy!

    • More facts for those that refuse to acknowledge reality:

The United Nations, the world body which granted the State of Israel membership and legitimacy stated on Monday:

There are also reasonable grounds to believe that Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, Israeli Minister of Defence, are responsible for other crimes and crimes against humanity “committed on the territory of the State of Palestine”.

These include “starvation of civilians as a method of warfare as a war crime…intentionally directing attacks against a civilian population [and] extermination and/or murder”.

  3. The Israel-Hamas war is forcing a moral reckoning upon all of us.

The very charters of the institutions that govern the Palestinians are declarations of intent to murder. Far from being charters for the founding of a civilized, rights-respecting state, they are declarations of war against civilized, rights-respecting society.

Properly understood, the right to form and maintain a state derives from the intention and practice of protecting and not violating rights—and the principle of rights, in turn, derives from the observable requirements of human life.

One is free to choose cowardice, but that same one can no longer be free to consider himher self as meritorious nor to have any self esteem and thus unable to assign any value to his existence. A nobody who deserves being a nobody.

All collateral damage—including deaths of innocents—resulting from Israel’s use of retaliatory force is exclusively the responsibility of those who initiated force and thus necessitated retaliatory force.

  4. The advanced Israeli culture left the Islamic countries behind—and the Islamists knew it and became enraged. When a person sees that a different culture can produce a much better life–greater knowledge, greater mastery over nature, greater comfort and security, greater respect for the individual–than his own, he has two choices. He can adopt the new culture as a blessing, or he can seek to destroy it–and himself–because it stands as a reproach to his irrational form of existence.

People are motivated to hate Jews not for their vices (which exist in the devotion to their own version of Abrahamic religion), but for their virtues. They are hated because they’re successful. Hated by those who hate their own selves. Corruption of envy that mutates to nihilism.

Hatred of the good, for being the good that mutates to nihilism. People are indoctrinated into needing free stuff from the govt (essentially a religious doctrine) that does not require any thought and effort, and develop an absolute hatred against those who do think and take action and are successful.

  5. The Virtue of Israel
The Israelis converted deserts and swamps into centres for science, technology, engineering, and agriculture. They created desalination and water purification systems, pharmaceutical plants, biomedical devices and therapies, and myriad other life-serving values. In so doing, the Israelis raised the standard of living not only for themselves, but also for virtually everyone on the planet. From flash drives to pill cameras to bacteria-resistant textiles to cherry tomatoes, Israelis have rained life-serving values on the world.

Some 2.3 million people, comprising approximately 26 percent of Israel’s population, are non-Jews. What has been the trend of Jewish and/or Christian minorities in Islamic regimes? Perhaps the Jew haters in our midst actually sympathize with actual Apartheid regimes because they’re backward, inflicting harm to their own selves, just like any other govt welfare dependent.

This is the real issue IMHO. Govt welfare dependency (= a dependency upon human sacrifices) is and has always been a scourge and a catalyst of both individual and institutional corruption. Somehow, the growth of the welfare state has to be reversed.

  6. Govt welfare dependency also = power over. Where that exits love for other humans does not. Power corrupts. It is the genesis of anger, hatred and ultimately war. Humanity must learn to love collectively. Now more than ever before.

    • The state of Israel is the greatest benefactor of U.S. handouts since the second world war. The total is $300 billion USD’s and most of that is military hardware.

Israel is the largest grifter on planet earth.

“Where that exists love for other humans does not.”

47,000 dead Palestinians . 80,000 injured. Two million people displaced and being starved to death.

‘Always the victim’ Israel are a death machine without any accountability nor remorse.

  7. All of that is trumped by the Palestinians being the occupying population from ancient times composed of people from all those kingdoms, nations and empires. Some of them might even be descended from the Israelites which might explain why the Jews are using them as involuntary organ donors. Blood and soil trumps politically correct mythology.

    • Along with many grave sites being desecrated and dead bodies taken by Israelis then there’s the mass graves where over 400 Palestinian civilians have been uncovered.

The development follows the recovery of hundreds of bodies “buried deep in the ground and covered with waste” over the weekend at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, central Gaza, and at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City in the north. A total of 283 bodies were recovered at Nasser Hospital, of which 42 were identified.

Among the deceased were allegedly older people, women and wounded, while others were found with their hands…tied and stripped of their clothes,” said Ravina Shamdasani, spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

  8. MORALITY IS TO TEACH YOU not to suffer and die but TO ENJOY YOURSELF AND LIVE. Morality is the realm of chosen values, thus as beings with free will we’re vulnerable to being misinformed and/or intimidated into choosing disvalues (a death wish). Until there’s enough of us who become conscious of this fundamental life or death choice, we’re going to be encumbered by various kinds of totalitarian death cults (e.g. Islam, socialism, fascism, climate cult, etc).

A MORAL CAUSE UNITES AND ENERGIZES THE PEOPLE! A proper association is united by a loyalty to ideas not to other men. “Mandating of freedom” is the most beautiful and noble ideas to have loyalty to!, and was recently re-discovered in Canada with the Trucker Convoy.

America’s Founders were Classical Liberals who discovered and implemented a valid theory of morality for the real world (Individual Rights), implicating the Rights respecting individual as the sovereign who is served by the govt who protects his agency as an individual.

It is this same Classical Liberal ideology (created by the British) that motivated the British Empire to mobilize its military to eradicate slavery everywhere in the world that they could, and were largely successful. Culminating into establishing (via the Balfour Declaration) a Rights respecting Jewish state substantially accomplished by the Jews in spite of the horrific violence from non-Rights respecting fanatical slave regimes in the surroundings.

Modern day “liberalz” are Communists virtue signalling as the above described classical version. We’re all learning the hard but necessary way that virtue signalling is not virtuous at all, and that free stuff from the govt is the most expensive stuff there is in the Universe.

  9. ICJ rules that Israel is to immediately cease and desist.

The ICJ also said that, in order to preserve evidence, Israel must take measures to “ensure unimpeded access into the Gaza Strip for inquirers”.

While reading the ruling, the ICJ President, Nawaf Salam, said that the humanitarian situation in Rafah has “deteriorated further” since the last court order.

He also added that the court is told that the humanitarian situation is now classified as “disastrous”.

Today’s ruling followed a request to order Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah, in a case brought by South Africa accusing Israel of genocide.

These hearings are part of an ongoing case in which Israel is accused of genocide.

It is important to note that the rulings and orders of the ICJ are binding and cannot be appealed
